Beauty training taught by Burcin Goksu at our 8336 W 3rd Street studio. Permanent makeup and makeup courses with real live-model practice — not just theory. Private 1-on-1 or small group (3–4 students). Students often travel from Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Pasadena, Studio City, and Sherman Oaks.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a license before I take a permanent makeup course?

You do not need a license to take the course. To practice professionally on paying clients in LA County, you must obtain a body art practitioner permit and a current bloodborne pathogens certification. We walk you through both applications on the last day.

Private vs group — which should I pick?

Group is the better choice for most students because you learn from watching peers make different mistakes than you make. Pick private if your schedule is rigid, if English is your second language, or if you want to start as fast as possible.

What does the deposit cover?

The deposit reserves your seat and covers your starter kit, materials, and pre-course reading packet. The remaining balance is due on day 1. Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of the start date.

Can I bring my own model?

Yes, and we encourage it — your friend or family member makes a better first client than a stranger. If you cannot bring a model, we provide one for an additional fee (typically $100-$250 depending on the procedure).

Will I be a master after the course?

No. We are honest: a 2-5 day course makes you a competent beginner with a small portfolio and the right kit. Plan for 8-40 supervised cases (depending on the technique) before you charge full retail. The certificate is the start, not the finish.

Do you take international students?

Yes. We regularly host artists flying in from out of state and from abroad. The course is taught in English. We can recommend short-term housing within walking distance of the studio.
