Brow services at MUA Salon are designed to refine the frame above the eye — through precise shaping, lamination, or our newest polishing treatment, brow illumination. Brow Shaping & Design is $40 for a 30-minute appointment. Brow Lamination is $120 for 45 minutes. Brow Illumination is $150 for 45 minutes. All services run at our Beverly Grove studio at 8336 West 3rd Street, in Los Angeles.

How to pick a brow service
Brow services fall into two broad paths: temporary and permanent. The temporary path — shaping, lamination, illumination — refines what is already there, holds for days or weeks, and is the right starting point for most clients. The permanent path — microblading, نانو ابرو, strong brows — adds new pigment that lasts years.

01 · Shaping
Brow Shaping & Design — $40
A 30-minute custom shape built around your face and natural growth pattern. We map the brow before we touch a hair: marking start, arch, and tail using bone structure as the reference, then waxing, tweezing, and trimming to the mapped shape.
This is the foundation service. Most clients book it on its own as a standing four- to six-week appointment, or pair it with a lamination or illumination once a quarter for a refresh. If you have grown your brows out for a few months and want a clean reset, this is the starting point. New clients should plan to arrive with brows untouched for at least two weeks so the artist can see the natural growth direction.
02 · Lamination
Brow Lamination — $120
Brow lamination is a controlled chemical service that softens the bond in each brow hair, allows us to re-direct the hairs into a brushed-up feathered shape, and re-sets them in the new direction for 6 to 8 weeks. The look is fluffier, taller, more uniform — and reads as a modeled, lifted brow without makeup.
Lamination is paired with a full shaping in the same appointment, so the brow is set into the new shape before it is fixed. The 45-minute appointment includes a relaxer, a fixing solution, a deep conditioning, a custom shape, and a brush-out. The result holds best if you avoid getting the brows wet for 24 hours, brush daily with a clean spoolie, and use a brow conditioning oil at night.
Lamination works best on brows with enough hair to hold the new direction. If your brows are sparse in patches, ask about combining lamination with our shaping service — or consider microblading or نانو ابرو for a permanent solution to gaps.
03 · Illumination · NEW
Brow Illumination — $150
Brow Illumination is the newest service on our brow menu — a 45-minute brightening and detail-enhancing treatment that combines shaping, tone refinement, and a polished finishing technique to deliver a lifted, lit-از-within brow frame.
The look sits between a basic shape and a lamination. It is more polished than a clean wax-and-tweeze, more natural than the brushed-up effect of lamination. Tone refinement evens out inconsistency along the brow, light detailing fills micro-gaps, and the finishing technique adds a soft sheen across the brow body so it catches studio and daylight cleanly. The effect is the kind of brow that reads polished without ever reading like makeup.
Illumination is the right pick for clients who want their brow to photograph well, who attend a lot of evening events, or who want something more elevated than a routine shaping but are not ready for a permanent makeup commitment. The result settles the same day and lasts between salon visits with daily brushing.

Permanent makeup brow options
If your goal is to wake up with full, defined brows for years at a time, permanent makeup is the better path. We offer three brow PMU techniques, each producing a different finish:

- Arrive with bare brows. Skip pencil, pomade, gel, and brow soap.
- Hold off on retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating acids in the brow area for 48 hours before lamination or illumination.
- Avoid sunburn or active breakouts in the brow area for 48 hours.
- For new clients, leave brows untouched for two weeks so we can see natural growth direction.
After
- Keep brows dry for 24 hours after lamination or illumination.
- Brush daily with a clean spoolie morning and night.
- Apply a brow conditioning oil at night to maintain hair health.
- Avoid retinoids and exfoliating acids on the brow for 48 hours after.
- Use SPF on the brow area when in direct sun.

Tone refinement is part of our Illumination service. For dedicated tinting, ask your artist at booking.

Can I do brow lamination at home?
We don't recommend it. At-home kits are the most common cause of brow breakage we see in repair appointments.
What is the aftercare?
