The Opportunity
MUA Salon is a boutique luxury beauty studio located in the heart of West Hollywood, welcoming clients from Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Santa Monica, and surrounding upscale neighborhoods. We are expanding our front-of-house team and are currently seeking a polished, organized, and client-focused Salon Receptionist to be the face of our salon.
Our salon is known for elevated beauty services, personalized care, and a refined client experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a high-end environment, thrives on organization, and understands the importance of first impressions.
You
You are warm, professional, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to make clients feel welcome. You understand luxury service standards and know how to manage a busy front desk with confidence and grace.
You are comfortable multitasking, handling appointments, and supporting both clients and artists throughout the day. Since our clientele is diverse and international, strong English is required, and Spanish is a major plus. Any additional language spoken is considered a super bonus.
You Should Have:

- Previous experience as a salon or spa receptionist (preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Comfort using booking and payment systems (we use Square for scheduling and payments)
Responsibilities
As the Salon Receptionist at MUA Salon, you will play a key role in creating a seamless and elevated client experience from arrival to departure.
Your responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients warmly and professionally
- Managing appointments, confirmations, and walk-ins
- Handling payments and check-outs using Square
- Answering phone calls, texts, and messages promptly
- Offering beverages and light hospitality to clients
- Coordinating schedules between clients and artists
- Maintaining front desk cleanliness and organization
- Supporting the team with daily salon operations
